Final seminar

SEEDS FOR CULTURE

In June 2028, three years of European cooperation will come to a close in Lille with the final seminar of SEEDS for Culture. Over [two days], partners, teachers and cultural professionals will come together to present the project results, share lessons learned from the field and reflect together on how to sustain them.

As the highlight of the project, this European dissemination seminar will bring together the seven SEEDS for Culture partners and their networks — around 80 participants from five countries. It will mark the culmination of joint work launched in 2025 to make artistic and cultural education a lever for inclusion and pedagogical innovation.

Discussions will focus on the four outputs developed throughout the project: the inventory of good practices and the multilingual guide resulting from the European mapping (WP2), the continuing professional development training module for teachers and cultural professionals (WP3), and the Green Paper, coordinated by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Foundation, which sets out recommendations for public decision-makers (WP4).

Beyond presenting the results, the seminar will be an opportunity to share feedback from the experimentation and training phases, and to open a collective reflection on sustaining the actions and disseminating them on a larger scale, both in Europe and in the partner territories.

The programme will combine sessions to present the results, exchanges between stakeholders and a strong cultural moment: a visit to the Matisse Museum in Le Cateau-Cambrésis, extending the encounter between education, art and territory that lies at the heart of the project.
